GPRS-Internet is a mobile Internet, based on packet data transfer. Company’s subscriber, who activated this service, can surf in Internet World Wide Web, directly fr om its mobile phone or use it as modem.
Besides of this, when MTS-Uzbekistan subscriber get in the 3G network coverage area, he can use mobile Internet on higher speed. It’s possible because to HSDPA technology, which allows to work in Internet with 3.6Mb per second. This opportunity is available for all company subscribers, who activated WAP/MMS/GPRS service. Subscriber’s terminal will be automatically logged in 2G or 3G network, depending on user location.
At that there is no need in any additional settings – net.mts.uz access point will be available in 3G network also.
Upon mobile Internet using there will be collected subscriber’s fee at the rate $0.02 per day from an user, in spite of place, wh ere user is located – either 2G or 3G network coverage area
«GPRS-MMS+WAP+INTERNET» service can be activated by one of the following ways *:
Subscriber’s fee for service using – $0,02 per day
Cost of 1 Mb traffic – $0,16
Tariffication quantum of “GPRS Internet” services 64 Kb.
Prices are including all taxes.
Services are billed by volume of transmitted and received information during the session. The used amount of traffic is expressed in round numbers: for the service «GPRS-Internet " - up to 64 KB, for the service «GPRS-WAP» - up to 10 KB. When buying a GPRS package / or change of tariff plan, you must complete the current GPRS session, perform an action and then start a new session in order to avoid incorrect billing of GPRS sessions.
* Most of modern mobile phones support GPRS/EDGE service. For detailed information see manual to the phone. For using high-speed Internet in 3G network coverage area, a phone should support 3G cellular communication standard and HSDPA function.
